Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born and bred singer. Her birth date was 25 December 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox received a scholarship to attend London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. The budget of her was augmented by a stipend for students and part-time work. Lennox was not happy with the quality of her performance compared with other students at Royal Academy and began looking at other options. Lennox started her professional career in the year 1976 as a member of a band called Dragons Playground. But she quit prior to her group being invited to compete on I.T.V.'s talent competition New Faces. She was the lead singer in The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. As part of this group, she was met by Dave Stewart. Together they would form their own group, the Eurythmics the pop group. Following that Lennox began working on her solo first album Diva that was released in 1992. Both commercially as well as critically it was a huge hit. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs favorite soul jazz and blues tunes from her upbringing. Lepidoptera was recorded by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. It is a collection comprising four tracks that were composed by Lennox. The E.P. Her first solo album, which was released in conjunction with her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, titled "Now I'm letting You Go." Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is a Scottish philanthropist political activist and musician and singer. At the end of the 70s, she achieved minor fame as part of The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international recognition in the 80s as Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo musical career in 1992, through the album Diva. It included a number of famous songs like walking on Broken Glass and What's the Matter with You. Medusa the album she released in 1995 contains cover versions of songs such asNo MoreI I Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale. The six solo studio albums and the compilation album contain a variety of hits.
